    We will explore how microbial communities influence animal health, productivity, and environmental impact—from Salmonella–probiotic interactions to the metabolic pathways driving methane emissions in cattle.

    Speakers

    • Urvish Trivedi (3D’Omics), assistant Professor in Microbiology at the University of Copenhagen, will present his work on in vitro interactions between Salmonella and probiotics, discussing microbiota‑based strategies for healthier livestock.

    • Wanxin Lai (HoloRuminant), PhD researcher at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, will present findings from her study, offering new perspectives for reducing livestock emissions and advancing climate‑smart livestock systems.

    • Velma Tea Essi Aho (HoloRuminant), Researcher at Norwegian University of Life Sciences will moderate the webinar.
